Miss K’s Colorado Boudoir Photography session was a dream! Miss K is no stranger to being in front of the camera! While in photo school she did a lot of self-portraits, and her final portfolio was on fine art nude studies. When Miss K saw Melissa’s work, she knew she had to experience a shoot herself! Miss K is also hoping to start a family soon, so a boudoir session felt like the perfect way to honor her current self before transitioning into the next phase of life motherhood brings.

What would you tell someone who is self conscious or nervous about booking a boudoir session?
“Do things that scare you! It’s always worth it!”
What would you say about the value in the investment you made?
“I think it’s important for everyone to intentionally make space to explore and honor themselves. Having someone show you how they see you, vs the harsh ways we tend to see ourselves, is an incredible experience everyone should have. We are starting to normalize internal exploration and acceptance through things like therapy. But it’s also really important to be curious about and love the skin you’re in. Our bodies do so, so much for us and it’s much easier to be critical of them. Investing in an experience that helps you be grateful for your amazing self is worth it.”
