This was Miss K’s second boudoir session with me. As a Colorado Springs Boudoir photographer, having a repeat client always means the world to me. Her first boudoir session was to create a Christmas gift for someone else. This second boudoir session was a gift to herself. This session was inspired by her mix of black lingerie pieces and sultry nudes. We created this magic in my Colorado Springs Boudoir Photography Studio and I LOVE how Miss K’s photos turned out!

What would you tell someone who is self-conscious and would never think they would like their own photos from doing a Boudoir Session with us?
“Give yourself the gift of letting someone show you the beauty of your soul inside and outside from their eyes, not yours. You won’t regret it.”
How was your experience during the boudoir photo shoot? Tell us all the things!
“I’ve been lucky enough to work with Melissa for 2 different boudoir shoots in the last 5 years. I was nervous for my first boudoir session, but for my second session, I was pumped and energized for it! Jessica Faye Beauty did my hair and makeup and I LOVE her. She’s super talented, professional and has great energy to be around!
The atmosphere, guided posing, energy, and experience BOTH times were amazing! Melissa has a way of transforming the energy in the room to center on YOU and only you. She’s so personable and encouraging. She makes it fun and sucks all the insecure energy and nervousness right out of the space immediately! She has a gift of connecting with you and hearing what you are wanting to say or try and making it come to life. You’ll leave feeling like you’ve known her for years, promise!”

How did your images turn out? How was the ordering experience and your final products?
“I was ENTHRALLED by my images and always have been afterward. Her process is so luxurious and just makes you feel so special! The quality of the time spent and the product options and her talent are just beyond words!”
What would you say about the value of the investment you made in your boudoir session?
“1000% worth it. I found that my boudoir sessions were ways of commemorating two different chapters in my life. I am in a very different spot now (divorced and living life on my own terms and pursuing what makes me happy) with session #2. The first one was a gift for my husband at the time and this second one was a gift for myself.
When I first met Melissa she told me how taking this step to do a boudoir shoot can truly be a gift to yourself. I didn’t understand what she meant by that until now. Now having done session number 2 and recently picking up my albums…I was brought to tears. I immediately recalled her telling me that “a boudoir shoot can truly be a gift to yourself”. It hit home as I flipped through my finished album for the first time.
In my experience, my journey of life thus far…she was right, boudoir can be an amazing gift to yourself, it is. Melissa made it the absolute best experience it could be! I’m grateful I allowed her to show me the “ME” that she can see through her eyes and that sometimes I’m too critical of what I see in myself.”
Would you do a boudoir session again?
“ABSOFREAKINGLUTELY. I plan on it!”
